Special Session on Forensic Acoustics
Experience in Forensic Architectural Acoustics

Introduction:

• There has been much acoustic-related litigation in California and elsewhere involving condominium construction defects and other juridical matters. Contributors who have been involved with such cases will describe acoustical case studies.
  
  
• Papers in other branches of foresnic acoustics will also be accepted.
  
  
• The session is jointly sponsored by the ASA Technical Committees on Architectural Acoustics and Noise, and supported by the Forensic Acoustics Subcommittee.
  
  
  

Abstract submission:

• The deadline for abstracts is Monday, July 8, 2013.
  
  
• See call for papers on the main ASA website.
  
  
• It seems possible that the session could be oversubscribed. If so organizers may need to
  • Limit presenters to one paper per firm. For that reason mark your abstract preferences accordingly (i.e., #1 preference or #2 preference, etc.)
  • Give preference to early submitters.
• For that reason, please submit abstracts early.
  
  
• For planning purposes please send copies of your proposed abstracts to session organizers.
